The prickly fruit buttercup is a species of the genus Ranunculus in the Ranunculaceae family. Distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangxi in China. Born in the weeds of the roadside fields. Annual herb, nearly hairless. Single leaf, with 3 shallow to 3 deep fissures, and lobes with reticular teeth. The achene is flat with wide edges and spines about 2mm long on both sides. The flowering and fruiting period is from March to May. Distributed in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangxi in China. Born in the weeds of the roadside fields. Distributed in North America, Oceania, Europe, and Asia.
